Scandinavian Art is a subset of Nordic art forms which comes from the Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Norway & Sweden. It is famous and loved for its connection to the nature, its minimalism, simple patterns and designs. Scandinavian art motifs are beautiful – full of aesthetic simplicity and elements of nature. The use of pastel colours highlights the beauty of this art form. Patterns are repeated throughout the artwork which are drawn in a symmetrical manner and with clean lines.

During this Penkraft Online Scandinavian Art course we start with the drawing of Scandinavian Art elements like trees, plants, flowers, animals, birds and insects. For the beginners who are not fully confident of directly drawing on the surface, transferring the tracings provided with the course kit, on to the surface is then covered. We then teach step by step from surface preparation to drawing and then painting the elements in detail with patterns using acrylic colors. The course begins with using Paper as the surface and then progresses to Canvas, round MDF surface, cloth bag, and an MDF Pen-stand. Throughout the course, we keep providing tips and tricks to make your experience rewarding and your knowledge of this art thorough!

During this training, we not only discuss the various techniques of teaching this art form, but also the tips and tricks of marketing to ensure you get a steady flow of students!
